Job Summary Provide outstanding customer service in a busy, fast-paced office setting. Greet patients and complete the check-in process verifying demographic and insurance information. Schedule new and return patient visits determining appropriate clinic provider based on specific standards. Ensure completeness of financial documents including type of visit, reason for service, charge for service, and diagnostic codes. Collect payments from patients and provide receipt of payment. Address physicians, staff and patients' needs in a very busy, fast-paced clinic. Required Qualifications* High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary. Must have at least three months of previous clerical experience in an Ob/Gyn Clinic. At least three years of proven customer service work experience is required. Experience using Cadence scheduling and previous MiChart training is required. Must possess excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team through proven interpersonal skills. Candidate must exhibit professional and positive image when interacting with patients, faculty, and staff. Demonstrated computer competency is necessary. Keyboard and basic computer skills required. Proven proficiency in the following software: MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, MiChart and Careweb. Demonstrated excellent attendance and punctuality is a must. Desired Qualifications* Bachelors degree desired. Experience using multi-line phone is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology. Work Schedule Work schedule is 40 hours per week - Monday through Friday - day shift.
