This is a Decentralized Float RN position which i! nvolves staffing assignments at multiple health center locations.
Location: Currently covering Briarwood Medical Group, Briarwood Center for Women, Children and Young Adults, Briarwood Health Associates, Saline Health Center, Taubman General Medicine) Responsibilities*
Provide age-specific nursing care in an ambulatory care clinic setting for adult and pediatric primary care, ob/gyn and specialty (allergy, GI, rheumatology, pulmonary) patient populations.
Provide telephone triage assessment and advice, patient education, direct patient care, and documentation of care.
Coordinate internal and external resources related to patient care.
Provide functional supervision of assistive personnel.
Work with physicians/providers and other disciplines to carry out clinical standards of care for various patient diagnoses and to promote continuity of care. Nursing Specific Info
Salary & Nursing Framework Level:

Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire.
Nursing Framework levels range from Level A to Level E.

Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Michigan.
Minimum of two years of recent RN experience in providing care to adult medicine and pediatric patients.
Demonstrated critical thi! nking skills through use of the nursing process.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities and to work with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively and build respectful relationships within and between units and individuals.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and problem solve effectively and efficiently.
Demonstrated ability to seek constructive approaches to resolving workplace issues.
Demonstrated adaptability to changing needs and priorities based on unit, department, and institutional goals/objectives.
Demonstrated accountability and dependability.
Good attendance record with punctuality.
Proficient with computer and typing skills.

1 year recent experience providing care to adult medicine or pediatric patients in an Ambulatory Care setting or Emergency Department.
1 year recent experience with telehealth nursing.
Demonstrated experience in providing chronic care management education (i.e. asthma, CAD, diabetes, hypertension).
BSN
Proficiency with MiChart documentation/ notifications. Work Schedule
Hours/Week: 40 hours per week.
Shift/Hours/Days: Day and Evening shifts; hours may change depending on clinic needs.
