Responsibilities SHMG President, James Tucci, MD, MMM, has strong philosophical beliefs and concomitant goals to drive the organization toward a fully integrated multispecialty group practice. Reporting to Dr. Tucci, is CMO Ken Fawcett, MD. The Chief Women's Health Services reports directly to the CMO and is responsible for 23 faculty and 10 advanced providers in the areas of MFM, Gyn-Onc, OB Core Faculty, Uro-Gyn, and Ob-Gyn. The goal is to create systems of care that advance a new care model - one that is characterized by time compressed and highly coordinate care. It involves the appropriate utilization and deployment of advanced practice provider teams in a model of care that is truly team-based. The Department Chief's responsibilities and performance expectations are set forth in the following categories:

Primary Responsibilities:
Leadership Growth Quality, Safety & Clinical Innovation Development of people Patient Service and Perception of Care Finance

Secondary Responsibilities:
Support of the Department Academic Chair

Shared Responsibilities with the Academic Chair:
Shared leadership of strategic planning and physician performance oversight Annual goals and deliverables will be developed with the Group President or his designee, and success of the Department Chief will be predicated on goal attainment. The position includes approximately 40% of time in clinical duties and 60% in administrative duties. Skill Requirements

Education :
Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Michigan. Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology or has equivalent qualifications in compliance with the medical staff credentialing process. Education in business, management, quality, and safety science. Specifically, has had didactic exposure to the theories, tools, and techniques of change management, the measurement and improvement of clinical care processes. MBA, MMM or equivalent preferred.

Experience :
At least four years' administrative experience in medical group setting, medical administration, with knowledge of medical business practices, organization dynamics and a desire for greater influence in the building of a multi-specialty group practice. Other
