We are currently looking for a Revenue Cycle Sr. Manager to join our team in Dearborn, Michigan.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of Dellâs clients within our Physician Services Group and is responsible for the overall account direction and management of the Revenue Cycle (patient accounting/billing services) for this large Physician Practice Group. The Revenue Cycle Sr. Manager will have responsibility 3-4 department managers, which includes onsite and offshore resources. This position ensures that back office patient accounting services are delivered according to standards and client-specific Service Level Agreements according to the contract with heavy executive level client relationship management responsibilities. This role ensures that standardized operating methods, procedures, and performance standards are implemented and followed.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Management of all daily operations of the Revenue Cycle function, including auditing and enforcement of quality and compliance standards.
- Management of the assigned Revenue Cycle staff, including all administrative management functions as well as quality and productivity monitoring and management.
- Reporting on operational performance and results to the Client Executive, the client, and the Revenue Cycle Operations management team.
- Planning and management of the integration of the Revenue Cycle functions of new physician practices into the overall client organization and operation.
- Coordination with the Patient Access organization to ensure smooth operation of the Revenue Cycle. Implementation of standard workflows, policies, procedures, and performance metrics, standards and tracking methods for; Medical coding, Charge capture, Billing, Accounts receivable management, Payment posting, Denial management.
- Consistently train, motivate, and evaluate staff to achieve best results for client and company objectives.
- 10+ years of Physician Revenue Cycle Service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience working within a large physician practice with increasingly responsible positions with an emphasis on patient accounting and Primary Care billing with internal medicine and 1-2 other specialty areas in oncology, cardiology, general surgery, trauma, OB-GYN.
- Demonstrable knowledge of physician billing and collection procedures and regulations.
- 6 years of leadership experience managing a staff of 30+. Must have experience managing departments through subordinate leaders and developing and administering schedules, objectives, and goals around performance management metrics.
- Strong time management skills and ability to delegate task clearly and consistently.
- Demonstrable experience in the design, documentation and implementation of workflows, policies and procedures.
- Strong client facing skills and experience.
- Excellent presentation skills and experience at the director and above level.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written.
- Position must be based in Dearborn, MI, relocation assistance is available.
- Must have experience working with multiple teams in a highly leveraged, service delivery role.
- Strong process improvement experience.
- CPAM preferred.
- Service Provider experience.
- Ability to remove barriers to change using strong change management skills.
- Financial Management Experience to include monitoring budgets and operational effectiveness; and experience developing strategies for adjusted courses of action.
Bachelorâs degree (or equivalent life/work experience), preferably in healthcare administration or business administration and 8-10 years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 6-8 years relevant experience.
