Job Summary: Performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations as prescribed by the physician and documents findings via quality views in the permanent record. Assists the physician during invasive procedures.
Job Requirements: ARDMS certification in abdomen and OB/GYN required or registry eligible.
Other: Very good understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology relating to disease process. Working knowledge of diagnostic ultrasound. Ability to work independently, efficiently and accurately. Proficiency in written and verbal communication required. Ability to practice person al protection isolation (PPI) Ability to perform CPR.
