Licensed Practical Nurse - Nights

Location: Macomb Michigan

Description: Maxim Healthcare Services is in need of Licensed Practical Nurse - Nights right now, this position will be placed in Michigan. Maxim Staffing Solutions currently has a full time opportunity available for an experienced LPN at a local facility. This position requires a LPN that has a recent 12 months of experience in a nursing home or hospital setting to qualify. This opportunity is for 8 hour Night shifts.

Responsibilities include:

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Performs focused interview to identify specific patients needs.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications include:

• Current Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse License.
• Full command, verbal and written, of the English language.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• One year prior professional nursing experience Preferred.
• Current BLS card.
• Successful completion of the screening tests
