St. John Hospital & Medical Centerâ€"
Well established Obstetrics and Gynecology private ! practice office is looking to add 2 nurse- midwives to their 9 board certified physician practice. Their offices are located in Grosse Pointe, Roseville, Macomb, and Rochester. The 4 practices see over 600 outpatients per week and have 20-30 surgeries per week (Gyn cases and OB c-sections). Types of outpatient visits include: office visits, mammograms, ultrasounds, NST’s and OR’s. This practice has 50 employees (part/full-time) with longevity of employment. Full time or part time positions are available, job sharing is an option. Approximately 90% is clinical practice time while 10% is spent on community outreach/education/marketing. Office hours are Monday â€"Friday 8-6, and some Saturdays. But the midwives are not there during all the office hours or on Saturdays. They offer an excellent benefit package.
Basic Qualifications: An experienced nurse-midwife is preferred but will consider a new graduate who is the right fit. Must be licensed as a RN and as! a CNM in the state of Michigan or be eligible to obtain Michi! gan licensure.
Ideal Qualifications: The ideal candidate has a commitment to providing full scope midwifery care including antepartum, postpartum, well-woman gynecologic care, and support during the labor and childbirth process. A majority of women seeking care in this practice are looking for low-intervention, hands-on care. Experience with this type of care is preferred. The ideal candidate is also energetic and interested in participating in community outreach and education in addition to clinical job responsibilities.
