Anesthesia Technician

Under general direction, provides supplies and equipment for the delivery of anesthesia in all anesthetizing areas; including Obstetrics, MRI, CT Sc! an, and Electrophysiology Lab. Provides assistance to anesthesiologists in preparation and insertion of invasive monitoring, such as pulmonary artery catheters, arterial lines, and central lines. Assists CRNAs in transport, preparation, and induction of the patient having cardiac, thoracic, major vascular, or neurosurgery. Assists with clean up of supplies and equipment in between certain cases to help insure rapid turnover of cases.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Education: High School Graduate or equivalent and/or Certified Anesthesia Technician
Experience: 1 to 3 years in Recovery Room, ICU, Emergency Department, CSS, Operating Room or Bio-Med setting, or anesthesia skill related experience; such as working with equipment or instruments in a sterile field or direct patient care experience in a non hospital setting.
