To perform high quality ultrasound scanning of the abdomen, OB/GYN, testes, breast and thyroid which will provide the physician with clinical data to establish a diag! nosis.
Edu:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Edu:
Satisfactory completion of a Medical Sonography Program in an AMA approved school.
Exper:
New graduate, minimal experience up to six months experience as a registered medical sonographer
Lic/Cert:
Must be registry eligible.
Lic/Cert:
Must obtain RDMS Credentials/Abdomen and/or OB/GYN within one year of employment date. Failure to obtain credentials may result in termination of employment.
Lic/Cert:
Basic Life Support Certification
Skill:
In-depth knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy

Ability to produce and evaluate quality images
