Description: Total Clerical Services is hiring Medical Coder in Dearborn, MI right now, this occupation will be placed in Michigan. The Medical Coding positions require full credentialing as a CPC coder and NOT a CPC-A (Apprentice). Medical Coders would need at least 2-4 years minimum coding for fo! llowing specialities: OB Gyn, Trauma, Neonatology, General Surgery, Neuro and E&M expertise. The coding positions are responsible for the neurosurgery office E/M, inpatient E/M, surgical coding as well as surgical data entry into our NextGen billing system.
Must be CPC certified (no apprentice) Must posses at least 2-4 yrs medical coding experience. Must have a past lead or supervisor experience Strongly desire cardiology, gen surg or multi-specialty coding experience. Experience with 10-key, medical terminology Proficient in ICD-9, CPT and HCPCS Must have knowledge of Medicare and various other payer coding, billing, and reimbursement guidelines
