More details about this job opportunity please read the description below. Emergency Medicine opportunity near Grand Rapids, MI in a 12K volume ED. Shifts are 12 hours, single coverage, with some physicians electing to work 24 hour shifts. Hospital is in ! the process of hiring a PA to provide additional coverage in the afternoons and evenings. The nursing staff is well-trained and works well with the physicians. Sub-specialty back-up includes General Surgery, Spine and Orthopedic Surgery, OB/GYN, inpatient psychiatric facilities, a hospitalist program and more. This is a hospital employed position offering a base hourly rate, bonuses, paid malpractice, paid vacation/holidays, health insurance and retirement program.
