Location: Currently covering Briarwood Medicine Group, Briarwood Center for Women, Children and Young Adults, Briarwood Health Associates, Saline Health Center and Taubman General Medicine
Responsibilities*
Provide age-specific nursing care in an ambulatory care clinic setting for adult and pediatric primary care, ob/gyn and specialty (allergy, GI, rheumatology, pulmonary) patient populations.
Provide telephone triage assessment and advice, patient education, direct patient care, and documentation of care.
Coordinate internal and external resources related to patient care.
Provide functional supervision of assistive personnel.
Work with physicians/providers and other disciplines to carry out clinical standards of care for various patient diagnoses and to promote continuity of care.

Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire.
Nursing Framework levels range from Level A to Level E.

Required Qualifications*
Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Michigan.
Minimum of two years of recent RN experience (within the last 5 years) in an ambulatory ca! re clinic or emergency department setting (non- research based), providing care to adult medicine and pediatric patients including triage, patient education and demonstrating application of the nursing process.
Demonstrated critical thinking skills through use of the nursing process.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities and to work with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively and build respectful relationships within and between units and individuals.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and problem solve effectively and efficiently.
Demonstrated ability to seek constructive approaches to resolving workplace issues.
Demonstrated adaptability to changing needs and priorities based on unit, department, and institutional goals/objectives.
Demonstrated accountability and dependability.
Good a! ttendance record with punctuality.
Proficient with computer an! d typing skills.

Desired Qualifications*
Recent experience providing care to Ob/Gyn patients (within the last 5 years).
Two years of primary care RN experience in ambulatory care clinic setting.
Demonstrated experience in providing chronic care management education (i.e. asthma, CAD, diabetes, hypertension).
BSN
Proficiency with MiChart documentation/ notifications.
Work Schedule
Hours/Week: 32 hours per week.
Shift/Hours/Days: Day and Evening shifts; hours may change depending on clinic needs.
