Medical Billing Specialist
Location: East Lansing Michigan
Description: Alliance Obstetrics and Gynecology is at the momment seeking for Medical Billing Specialist right now, this position will be placed in Michigan. Further informations about this position opportunity please read the description below. Immediate opening for a full time billing specialist at a busy OB/GYN practice. Responsibilities include assisting with coding, billing errors and claim reso! lution. This position also assists patients, insurance companies and other Alliance staff with billing related questions.
Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefit package offered including health, dental, life and 401(k).
Minimum of 2 years of medical billing experience required.
This position requires the ability to work both independently and as a team member. Ability to maintain exceptional records of activities and prioritize tasks on a daily basis required. Must have an extensive knowledge of billing, coding and auditing and be AAPC certified. Associates degree preferred.
Allscripts experience a plus.
