Location: Variety of Ambulatory Care Clinics including but not limited to: East Ann Arbor and Geriatric Health Center, West Ann Arbor Health Center, Livonia Health Center, Outpatient Psychiatry-Rachel Upjohn Building, Canton Health Center.
Responsibilities*
Provide nursing care as a float RN in ambulatory care clinics.
Utilize the nursing process to provide care for adult, pediatric, OB/GYN and psychiatric patients.
Provide telephone triage and advice, patient education, direct patient care, and documentation of care. Knowledge and coordination of internal and external resources related to patient care. Provide functional supervision of assistive personnel. Work with providers and other disciplines to carry out clinical standards of care for various patient diagnoses.

Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL a! nd salary will be determined at time of hire.
Nursing Framework levels range from Level A to Level E.
Required qualifications must be met by the candidate in order to be interviewed and considered for the position.

Required Qualifications*
Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Michigan.
Two or more years of recent RN experience with adult medicine and pediatric medicine patients.
Demonstrated critical thinking skills through use of the nursing process.
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively and build respectful relationships within and between units and individuals.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and problem solve effectively and efficiently.
Demonstrated ability to seek constructive approaches to resolving workplace issues.
Demonstrated adaptability to changing needs and priorities based on unit, department, and institutional goals.
Demonstrated accountability and dependability for work completion within established time lines.
Good attendance record with punctuality.
Proficient with computer and keyboarding skills.

Desired Qualifications*
!
One year of RN experience caring for pediatric medicine and/or adu! lt medicine patients in an ambulatory care (non-research based) or Emergency Department setting.
Demonstrated critical thinking skills for symptom based telephone triage/advice.
BSN.
One year of RN experience caring for OB/GYN patients.
Demonstrated experience in providing chronic care management education (i.e. asthma, CAD, diabetes, hypertension).
Proficiency with MiChart documentation and notifications.
Work Schedule
Hours/Week: 32 hrs. /wk.
Shift/Hours/Days: M-F Day and occasional evening shift; hours vary depending on clinic operations.
