Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Revenue Team Manager, is accountable as part of the team for revenue cycle results in specialty area. Has a reporting relationship to the Administrative Manager and provides direction, education, and communication to maximize cash collection through accurate activity capture. Provides specialty reports to management, physicians, and site associates, facilitates communication and provides on-going education in the specialty area of billing for department management.
Qualifications
High school diploma required with one to two years of college preferred. Requires experience in medical billing, and/or coding. Coding certification (RHIT, RHIA, CPC, CCS-P) required. Specialty coding experien! ce preferred but not required.
