Under general direction, conducts analysis and fact-finding to develop, configure or modify moderately complex information systems. Prepares detailed specifications from ! which programs will be written or applications configured. Works with customers to develop Use Cases, document current workflows and assists customers in developing future workflows. Designs, codes/configures, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains programs/applications. Competent to work on all phases of applications systems analysis and configuration or programming activities.
This position is for the
one
Chart Surgical Services/Emergency Center/Obstetrics
team. Application Analysts on this team develop and support
one
Chart (EPIC) for end users in the peri-operative, peri-anesthesia,
OB
and emergency departments.
Required:

Ability to work effectively on and lead cross-functional teams

Ability to successfully communicate technical information to non-technical audience
·
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to learn quickly, both technically and with regard to clinical/business workflows

Strong understanding of business/clinical processes
·
Demonstrated leadership skills
·
Ability to mentor team members, both technically and professionally
·
Ability to develop, document and ensure adherence to technical standards and processes
Prior Healthcare and/or IT Application Development experience preferred.
Relational Database experience/Programming background preferred.
EPIC
experience preferred, specifically in OpTime, Anesthesia,
Stork
or ASAP.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Engineering or other related field required.
This is for the Surgical Services
/OB/
Emergency Center team therefore experience/knowledge in those clinical areas is a plus.
P! osition level and salary will be determined based on experience.
