Metro Health Hospital is looking for an RN to join our team! This is a full-time (36 hrs/wk), night (7p-7a) position available in our Obstetrics department. This position has weekend/on-call requirements.The Staff RN! is a professional care giver who assumes responsibility and accountability for the obstetrical population, including the following types odf patients: antepartum, labor and delivery, postpartum, operative and/or neonatal patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients and their families via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment / instrumentation, and other health care team members. The Staff RN is assigned to deliver care to patients that are within his/her area of expertise and orientation and may include one or more of the patient groups assigned above. Assigns and directs the work of related staff.
Required:
- Michigan Registered Professional Nurse licensure required. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) providerâ€"required.- Neonatal Resuscitation Certification required upon completion of orientation.
