Please consider a unique opportunity to join a new medical school with its inaugural class starting summer of 2013. Successful candidates will assume a role in the development and implementation of a highly integrated, cross! -disciplinary, clinical presentation and inquiry-based medical school curriculum. Additional duties will include classroom teaching, sustained scholarly activity, clinical practice and committee service.
Positions are available at Assistant, Associate and full Professor ranks and start dates are negotiable. There is preferred interest in candidates with experience teaching medical students/residents and/or developing teaching programs, specifically pertaining to experience with cross-disciplinary teaching. Opportunities available in Family Medicine, OB/GYN, General Surgery, Pediatrics, Geriatrics, Endocrinology, Internal Medicine, Hospitalist, Urology, GI, Dermatology, Neurology and Medical Humanitiesâ€"research opportunities available.
The university is located in a classic college town with a blend of natural features, family attractions, small town life and university culture. The innovative program is housed in a new, 60,000 sq ft facility with advance! d technology for teaching. This includes sophisticated high-te! ch laboratories which feature capture cameras and individual screens for imaging, state-of-the-art simulation suites and exam rooms.
