On January 1, 2013, MedSynergies partnered with Vanguard Health Systems to form a joint venture management services organization (MSO) named Gardien Services. Gardien Services supports Vangua! rd health care providers by delivering key business functions and physician management services under one centralized organization across 28 hospitals and facilities nationwide.

Gardien, the French spelling for Guardian, means to protect and oversee â€" which are two principles at the cornerstone of health care delivery. As an employee of Gardien Services, you will be charged with providing the high level of clinical care and physician support that has become known as the standard in the health care industry.

Regional Manager â€" Detroit, MI Market

The Regional Manager provides managerial and operations oversight for physician practices and Practice Coordinators in assigned area. This includes, but is not limited to: managing daily clinic operations, managing and executing the integration between the Management Services Organization (MSO) and practice operations, providing oversight revenue cycle management, and managing the physician relationship! .

Position Responsibilities

Provides manager! ial oversight and leadership for physician practices and Practice Coordinators in assigned area, including but not limited to hiring, training, managing performance and compensation, goal setting and measurement, etc

Manages the P&L for the business and ensures physician engagement and alignment

Balances patient needs, outcomes, compliance and safety with productivity guidelines. Overall accountability for the patient experience in practices

Ensures regional compliance with regulatory, licensure, and accreditation requirements including that staff is appropriately licensed/certified and taking corrective action for non-compliance as needed

Plans the implementation, monitors work flows, and reports on progress of MSO and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) solutions

Ensures implementation of MSO and RCM solutions into the daily operations of their practices .Communicates related policies and procedures to Practice Coordinators. Serves ! as the first line of contact for questions or concerns

Responsible for financial performance of clinics in assigned areas. Monitors and analyzes practice financial performance and performance against quality goals and initiatives. Reports results to more senior leadership, making recommendations and/or implementing solutions to improve financial performance as needed

Collaborates with MedSynergies leadership, client leadership, and physicians as required to ensure communications and relationships are appropriately managed

Participates in special projects and completes other duties as assigned

Travel â€" up to 50% of regional travel required

Position Qualifications (Required)

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Healthcare Administration or a related field from an accredited college/university

5 years experience in the healthcare industry in a client service/client operations enviro! nment (Physician group or clinic)

3 years experience in a lead! ership/supervisory role within the healthcare industry

3 years of intermediate usage of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Position Qualifications (Preferred)

Masters degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Healthcare Administration or a related field from an accredited college/university

Experience in business operations for OB-GYN specialty
