- Candidates must be external and have 2+ years of recent
ProMedica is a locally-owned, nonprofit health system
providing quality health care services to 27 counties in
northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. We’re a network
of hospitals, physicians, health care professionals,
researchers, and specialty clinics and facilities. We
offer a full range of diagnostic, medical, and surgical
specialties in areas such as emergency medicine and
trauma, heart and vascular, oncology, orthopedics,
neurology, women’s services, and children’s services.
General Summary:
Under general supervision and according to established
policies and procedures, coordinates total nursing care
for patients, participates in patient and family
teaching, and provides leadership by working
cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient
care team personnel in maintaining standards for
professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
ProMedica Monroe Commu nity Hospital is a Level One LDRP.
We have 24 beds, 6 LDRP, 7 triage, 2 OR’s, delivering
around 800 babies per year.
Job Requirements:
- Degree from an accredited nursing program
- Must possess current licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Current BCLS certification
- Specialty certifications as required
- Must have interpersonal skills to communicate
pediatric (1-12 years); adolescent (13-17 years);
adult (18-64 years); and geriatric (64 years and
above); physicians, and other hospital personnel as
needed to promote quality patient care.
