Role Summary/Purpose:
Synchrony is continuing to build a world class Performance Media and Creative Agency committed to driving results with our retail and payments partners while also delivering leading customer experiences. Within this agency, our Paid Media Team is focused on achieving growth by making data-driven decisions to create meaningful interactions with existing and potential customers. We are seeking aPaid Search Analyst to serve as a hands-on-keyboard SEM strategist and analyst, supporting business partners across the enterprise. This role will execute/optimize campaigns for our business partners, collaborating with analytics and operations.

This position reports to Isabel Nie.Essential Responsibilities:
Run paid search campaign planning, development, execution, optimization and reporting
Work directly with business teams on initial campaign planning as well as weekly performance reviews
Own keyword research/analysis, copy development, bid strategy and budget allocation
Monitor campaign performance daily and optimize based on KPI’s
Develop ongoing testing plan to get new learning and improve campaign performance
Document test-and-learn initiatives and share across businesses
Onboard new client campaigns and transition existing agency-managed campaigns
Understand the technical build of everything paid search as well as all Google Ads tactics (RLSA, Customer Match, Discovery Ads, GDA, Gmail, etc.)
Collaborate with analytics on measurement, tagging and reporting
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or in lieu of degree, high school diploma + 4 years marketing experience
2+ years of hands-on experience managing paid search campaigns from planning and execution to optimization and reporting
Well-versed in paid search keyword research, ad copy buildouts, bid strategy, copy and landing page test development, as well as all other daily optimization tactics
Experience with Google Marketing Platform (CM, SA360, DV360, GA360)
Demonstrated strength in analytical skills and thinking; proficient in excel and PPT
Desired Characteristics:
Experience working on B2C and B2B campaigns; experience working in financial category a plus
Knowledge beyond text ads such as GDA, Discovery Ads and Gmail ads
Knowledge in paid media tagging strategy, structure and workflow
Excellent team skills; flexibility to pivot with strategy, regulatory and market evolution
Proven collaborative skill sets, experience developing plans and consistently meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Creative and resourceful; Proven ability to problem solve and look for new ideas
Strong project management and communication skills; Detail oriented and organized
Agency experience preferred
Grade/Level: 09
The salary range for this position is 60,000.00 - 112,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
