Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure project works are conducted according to the company’s regulations and assist in implementing the company's rules and regulations
- To ensure Permit-to-work, Method statement and Job Safety Analysis are understood by site supervisors and workers
- Assist in identifying any unsafe condition / unsafe act & recommend/implement reasonably practicable measures to correct the situation
- Inspect project sites to ensure safety measures are being carried out at all times
- Work closely with safety officer and safety personnel to ensure safety compliance are met
- Maintain good house-keeping of all safety and health records
- Follow up on all safety-related issues
- Comply and assist in implementing the requirements of the WSH Act and all its subsidiary and statutory legal legislations
- Review, suggest and implement new methods to improve workflow
- Responsible for all the site matters including safety and other matters
- Perform any other duties as assigned by superior
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess relevant certificates (E.g: Advanced Certificate in WSH Safety Coordinators Training Course)
- Good understanding and knowledge of the WSH Act & other legal requirements
- Good interpersonal skills and working attitude
- Candidates with experience in M&E Industry are an added advantage
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to speak and communicate well in English
- At least 5 years of relevant experience as Safety Coordinator with LTA Project
